mar : won first ever bid at ebay for ae-p, the harsh and bitter goodbye
apr : leaving something old
may : resignation day, seeing ria, cheeseburger moments, winning the SWQC for debugtool, giving a stupid speech and the lousiest resignation party ever. start of my new job.

nov : first ever punk photo shoot, my new e71. timeout, twilight.
dec : 田中ー産のさよなら, getting sick, edmond’s wedding, wii party, nec and td christmas party, and seeing roel.

2009 will be KICK-ASS!
2008 was filled with music and movies, as it was one of the most weekends I was trapped at home with nothing to do so here’s my countdown.
20. Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’s Don’t You Fake It Album – This was an angsty emo album, full of screaming, I listened to this mostly when I was angry or just down and makes me want to feel even more downer without the help of medication
(Face Down, Cat&Mouse, Atrophy, etc.)
19. Lost In Translation (Sophia Coppola) 2003 – This is one of my favorite movies ever. And it made more endearing because I have concrete plans to visit Tokyo anytime soon, I love the noisy city that is turned quiet in this film and it reminds me the beauty and the rich culture of Tokyo, I WILL GO!!!
18. Iron and Wine’s Passing Afternoon tied with tracks from One Tree Hill’s Season 5 (Jason Walker’s You Fill My Heart) – my constant coffee companions at kopiroti alongside mr. malboro man in green :P
17. Urbandub’s Under the Southern Lights Album – I remember watching them live at gweilos one night before the NSP beach party, it made me download this album and was on repeat for a couple of weeks tops.
16. Yui’s Merry Go Round (song) – I have Yui’s From Me To You Album for the longest time, and it was in mid-June till I actually gave her a chance, not only it did have the ever-popular Life, it had this song that had me happy and prancing in the streets.
15. Metallica’s Black Album – I was angry, what can I say? LOL
14. The Killers’ Romeo and Juliet from Sawdust – I bought this album a few months back together with Metallica’s black album. Let’s say, this song stuck on repeat, it climbed 100+ play count in my Last.Fm in a few days.
13. Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away – my quest for miyazaki’s films started 2 years ago from Tonari no totoro and was rekindled by a favorite also of a favorite friend (labo noh?) this is one of the most heartfelt and great movies I’ve seen, of course, it was an international best-seller translated into so-and so languages. I have ordered miyazaki films from the internet a week ago. I hope it comes before vacation ends.
12. Orange Range’s O2 – if anyone who is an anime addict haven’t watched Code Geass, please do. I was absolutely crying at the end, emotional investment on my favorite characters and it was one of the best animes I’ve seen since FMA.
11. my Run playlist. – I was planning to take up jogging since there was a time i had too much free time, until I couldn’t because of the weather, our office is next to the park,but it kept playing, so it just ran on my mind, they were happy songs, it reminded me to be happy, because to my aghast, i didn’t find a single happy song in my iTunes. *gasp. hello emo kid.
10. GNR’s Sweet child of mine – this song bagged me the female best in costume at the company’s christmas party. w00t.
9. Boys Like Girls’ Hero/Heroine – My favorite song because of special reasons that doesn’t include lovelife! :P
8. Air’s Alone in Kyoto – again, my japan dreams seeming to make me try to make it come to life.
7. Bloc Party’s signs – same as #9 reason
6. Coldplay’s Lovers in Japan – of course all about Japan. :P
5. 13 going on 30 – This is one of the nicest movies I’ve seen in a while, because I love happy endings (spolier) and it was so giddy and pure. :)
4. Wong kar wai-’s in the mood for love – In the holes of Cambodia, I whispered a secret…
That’s it. :P
3. Sex and the City – I have grown to love this series and was really in love with the movie, this brings out the modern girl in me. :)
2. MGMT’s time to pretend – I’m feeling rough I’m feeling fine and it’s the time of my life (to start 2009)
and lastly…
1. Delays’ Hideaway – for reasons that make me feel wanted for a friend whom cared for me in ways that i cannot imagined, for a friend who left, and who will never be back…
